  • Good headphone, for the sake of black Friday, hope it can be lower

I ended up deciding against HyperX after reading a bunch of complaints of a constant hiss / static / white noise.
Have a google before pulling the trigger.

I bought the Cloud II awhile ago from EB and can confirm they did have a static and hiss. They also had an issue with sound not equally coming through both ears (Left was slightly louder)

I took them back for a refund, and ended up getting some Cloud Alphas instead. They are much better with no issues.

So it wouldn't affect someone with tinnitus then? 😅

  • Not sure how this stacks up, but HyperX CloudX Elite for $39 Click & Collect if anyone lives near Auburn NSW

    • CloudX is an entirely different ballpark, but probably good value for a budget set

  • i have these, been great, no issues

Also have these, no hiss, no issues. Paid $95 for them during covid.

      Where did you buy them?

  • Wish they had kept making the original Clouds…they would be the nicest, cheapest wired set on the market.

  • I'm seeing $111 on Amazon right now… edit: nevermind, that's cloud core, sorry

You may as well pay a further $70 for the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless headset.

The 300hr battery life is actually accurate.

    • these are 30 hrs….last a week no probs, quick charge….no actual sound benefit with Alpha so its just convenience
