      • Thanks for posting the deals :)

I didn't get the flyer for some reason :P

  • I doubt this will play h.264 encoded videos.

  • Those are some impressive prices. Shame it's only at one place.

  • Thanks! (i'm more excited that this store is finally opening - will be a lot closer for me than any other aldi's)

    Cheers =)

I tried this eBook reader before
    resolution is poor
Even my best photos looked bad and washed out
only PDF works and half the images in the eBook are displayed
    only flash movies works.
    avi,divx,mpg didn't play.

the only thing that works really well is music. It plays MP3 very nicely.

i returned it after 2 frustrating days

Edit: The TV is a bargain. I will buy it. Thanks O.P

  • Where did you get the info from? Is there a flyer/ad online?

    • Catalog found in letter box earlier today.

  • Info on the TV: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/70053 Must be some leftovers

    Returned it last week,
imho it was a piece of $hit.

  • Does anyone know if the TV has a headphone jack?

  • Quick update

    Aldi by 9am
    - a bit chaotic
    - 2 staff per counter to help speed things up
    - many people I passed had tvs in their trolleys
    - only about 3 tvs left on the floor (They could have more stock out the back but I only just thought of it now that I'm home)

    • They also seemed to have complimentary coffee/hot chocolate tastings in store and complimentary chocolate too (if they come around to you with a plate or you go to the desk)

Plus they were giving out 50c off Gloria Jean's coffee vouchers

I went after work at around 7pm to pick up a high pressure cleaner.. still 3/4 of a pallet left when I was there..

TVs must've sold like hotcakes… Everyone was asking the staff about the TV.

There were still quite a few left of the other sale items.

      • Can you let me know when you've tried the high pressure cleaner?

Thank you for your time :)

I guess they had extra stock out back, after all :)

I'm impressed (that they actually had enough stock to cover everyone the first day)
