Was at my local Officeworks and saw this Cooler Master MS112 mem-chanical keyboard / mouse combo for $49.
Thought it was a good price, though I'm not sure what others think about 'mem-chanical' switches, for an entry level keyboard/mouse combo, looked alright.

I prefer wired for my desktop.
What about for your deskbottom?
He stays under my desk
Touché says JV
Why’s he getting downvoted? What’s wrong with wireless, I don’t understand
What’s wrong with wireless
It's not good for the environment.
For real? Is it because the batteries or something??
@maegajang: wireless emits radiation.
@jv: Looked into it and from what I can tell it’s benign, I’ve seen you shitposting before so I’ll assume I got baited until further notice

They said the same about cigarette smoke, asbestos etc. a few decades ago…
@jv: Fair point, guess I’ll die.
@maegajang: You good mate. I can give you a hint, to start looking, verify and determine it by yourself. Not necessary listen to what 'they said'. The BT power for keyboard would generally be limited to around 2 to 2.5 milliwatts. Which is around 1/100 of microwave, or 1/1000 of cell phone. This can be somehow verified by calculation. For example you have two 1.5V AAA battery power up a kb, which is around 2000X2 mAh. It would expect this to be last for 1 year. Assuing the kb is active 1/3 of time (8hr/day), and idel for 2/3. This will gives 2000 X 2 X1.5 / (8 X365) = 2 milliwatts. Sure this is only estimation. There will be other energy consumption in circuit and chip. But the different will not be 10 times or 100 times. So if we can't avoid microwave or cell phone. I don't give a S about this BT wireless. Also to make it even easier, radio broadcast has been introduced like 100 years back, no massive dead, no friend of mine dead. So I don't give a S.
Seems to be same price Australia wide
So how much are you saving then ?
Sorry, I meant same price at officeworks Australia wide. The similar mouse/keyboard I found was the MS110 which was $79+. I'll update the listing.
Can you change keycaps on this keyboard to custom ones?
i am wondering the same thing. i need a keyboard to put my gmk kepcaps on.
is this hot swappable? i need to put my telios switches on a keyboard
According to this, they're not even proper mechanical switches, but some sort of hybrid. Plus they definitely don't look like they are MX compatible.
Memchanical? xd
