Seoul nonstop from Sydney for $887 on Qantas. With the crazy high prices of flights around right now these are a good deal!

Note that to get this price you have to book through an NZ OTA. You can book directly through Qantas if you prefer but it brings the price up to $949.

Dates in March, late April, May, June, August and September 2023.

Similar prices from other departure cities but with a stop en route in Sydney.

  I flew there in May and I had to pre-purchase tourist visa.

    It's funny how 5 airlines are competing on the Sydney to Seoul route but there is zero flying the Melbourne route.

  Looking at going in April but will probably go with Asiana or Korean Air. Qantas has been too (profanity) lately.

  Qantas for me, have tried it once but will never go back even when is cheap or direct flight to destination….

  Service just sh!t overall

  I think airline experiences will be different for everyone. Honestly I am not going to suggest I am an expert, but I have flown a decent amount of different airlines and I can say I have never had a bad experience. There have been some delays of course and even once no food (which they gave us cash on arrival to make up for it), but in general they have all been good.

  Pretty sure flights are code shared with Asiana airline. Its OKish airline but not good as Qantas.

    Jetstar will be the first to fly, with a Boeing 787 taking off thrice-weekly between Sydney and Seoul from November 2; business class is the place to be on this 11-hour Jetstar 787 trip, even if the seats are more akin to premium economy

    December 10 sees Qantas follow with four Sydney-Seoul flights a week on its workhorse Airbus A330 featuring 28 lie-flat Business Suites, although there’s no premium economy cabin between business class and economy
