Can vouch for the software. Have used the trial versions recently and the results restoring photos and recreating facial details with Gigapixel AI is amazing (although my attempts to improve photos further with Denoise and Sharpen AI weren't very successful).
I'll probably buy one of the bundles.

I think you can hold off at least if you don't think an upgrade is worthwhile and still use the product. Later when they add something that appeals you can catch up? Does it read that way to you? I don't think you are limited to a major release for example.
@ozbs25: That's my interpretation as well. Although, I wonder how often major updates (features, enhancements etc.) get released at Topaz.
@mtv1507: The last time I looked into this stuff (maybe a year or two ago) their wording was quite different and I'm very sure they explicitly mentioned major vs minor release numbering and how your license would guarantee you to have access to X.
Going back through their release notes (which are out of date by the way) it looks like maybe a new version comes out every 1 - 2 years.
Photo AI (combo of denoise and sharpen) seems to have been updated almost weekly recently. Get the impression that's their focus atm.
Re upgrading … basically, a year of free upgrades, then pay. My upgrade offer …"Extend Topaz Photo AI, DeNoise AI, Gigapixel AI, and Sharpen AI upgrades" for 1 year for $US79 total.
I already owned denoise and sharpen, so they gave me Photo AI free without me asking. Pretty decent of them.
I'm doing a LOT of slide digitising currently, and am using photo ai to batch process the files as a first step. Does a decent job, good base for more processing, with only a small % of the processed (by ai) images needing individual reprocessing.
hmmm installed but so far not impressed with Photo AI seems to be spend enormous amount of time on each picture but do nothing really. photos look almost exactly the same.
Pretty solid discount on great software. Just checking this is an outright purchase, and does it include future updates?
