  Stouts usually have roasted malt, porters usually wouldn't. Stouts are darker, roastier, creamier, also usually a higher abv (though not in this case).

@REP: A bit disappointed with the mixed case I got recently with the Nelson IPA having a BB date of 06/12/22. Would've been good if it was short-dated that it was advertised as such!
