I just came across this today, it is the first time in two and half years that this program has gone free.
Normally $30.99 now free available for iOS on iPhone or iPad.

  It was $30.99 base program, they have always offered IAP, but that was on top of the base price.
  This has been reduced for first time in 2 and half years.
  Yes iPad is better version, each to their own.
  Still for free a good program to just get and try out if you are in to creative music composition etc

    Thanks OP. I hardly use my iPad, since I bought a Galaxy Fold 3.

    Hopefully this works with my spare cheap USB KB controller, so I can use it at lunchtime.
