Should I Expect Any Sales for The iPhone 14 Pro This Upcoming Black Friday?

Hey guys,

I've recently badly damaged my iphone 11 and the repair costs from Apple is just not worth going for the repair, so I'm looking at upgrading to the iphone 14 pro. Should I expect there to be any sales for the 14 during black friday considering it only just recently came out? If not, what would be the cheapest option available within the next few weeks, looking to upgrade as soon as possible because I'm not sure how much longer my current phone can hold up for?

Side question: Would I be missing out on much if I go for a 13 pro instead of a 14 pro? Are there any major upgrades other than the island?

    Most likely a gift card deal for Black Friday as apple has done them last few years.
    Traditionally they exclude the latest devices though sadly.

    nope,
    nothing worth waiting for, probably get $50 off or something like that.

    the iPhone Pro and Pro Max can't even stay in stock. Purple one won't be delivered until late December/ early January. the rest get sprinkled in every 2-3 weeks, and then sold out right away.

      Agree, since the OP has lost their phone, they probably havent been able to keep up with the news that the China factories were hit with a Covid wave and production is down or non existent on the 14's.

      Unfortunately like high demand cars, instead of usual black friday discounts, a premium more likely apply for on time delivery.

    Foxconn is under lockdown, i wouldnt bet on a sale given that global supply is a constraint at the moment. And your priority is to swap phones asap before it dies. Just make the purchase.

    Happened the same to me, 12 Pro
    Apple quoted $890 for replacement/repair (no Apple Care+)

    Confused what should I do… pay that or spend double for a new phone like 14 Pro in a color i don't like?

    Flagship iPhones are generally excluded from sales and have been for almost the entirety of the iPhone's existence. They don't even list iPhones on the refurbished or education stores so you likely won't see anything substantial from Apple themselves. The most you're likely to see is a few dollars off from Officeworks (et al) and deeper discounts on older models at third party sellers to clear inventory. Good luck!

    What about Macbook Air M2 chips? Missed $1500+ Amazon deal, can't justify the current sale price of $1700+. Would there be another round of $1500+?
