Almost historical low for this great front and rear dash cam.

Lowest price for Amazon as per Camel x 3.

I have owned two 70mai dash cams (older versions) and they have never skipped a beat, working great in hot/cold conditions, always connect to phone easily, great angle and video qualities. Auto-recording when motion/impact detected works great even when it's not connected to car battery. Expecting this dual cam would be of the same quality.

Enjoy!

anybody has this? what's the performance and clarity like day/night - I don't believe sponsored YouTube clips

    • Whats wrong with sponsored youtube clips?

This comment is brought you by raid shadow legends and nordvpn.

      /s

    • I have the 4K version and those YouTube clips are accurate. Good at day and night.

  • I also have old version 70mai still in the box…
    I curse my lazy….👿

Was it patched? It was not able without connection with car bettery when I bought long times ago…

I get like 30s clips for each noise/movement or impact (like open/close car door), as far as I am aware, it records and saves the clips quite nicely.

One time I accidentally unplugged the cord and it was still recording through the trip for at least an hour, so I assume it would be able to keep many 30s clips until we turn the car on again

  • Walked away when I see battery built-in…..

    • how bad is it vs a capacitor one?

      • Had one ages ago and melted in summer hot days, lucky it didn't exploded..Used capacitor ones ever since.

        • ah damn i'll wait for a better deal then. thanks!

      • The aussie summer and battery operated dash cam is a great recipe for a car fire.

I had a standard 70mai with battery for 4 years… No issues at all. Brisbane.

  • Does it use 1 SD card for both units? Ie. No need to have 2 for front and rear?

    • +1

I think rear one have to connect to the front. So it use 1 microSD.

    • Yeah so you run the wires from the rear to the front one, and the SD card is only in the front one. When you open the app, it will show you 2 folders, 1 for rear and 1 for front camera.

  • Have the older version and its 'ok'. Have had to reset it a few times and GPS is hit and miss.
However, for the money - its just fine… I'd consider this newer version for the money.

Quality of the image is fine also. Pay for what you get - usually, and in this case… something a little better… So its all good…
