I sit about 3.5-4m away depending on what part of the couch.
At 2.8m, I'd probably save the cash and get a 77"
I sit 3.5m away from my 75" and it was like watching tennis from the front row.

I got the G1 77 for 5000 about 4 months ago (On clearance after the launch of G2). Still had to negotiate hard to get a deal.
There is not much competition for 77' or 83' G series OLED. the C2 83 often goes on sale.
Ending up getting a killer deal with good guys for 7600 delivered!
Any particular store you negotiated with for that price or di dyou go through chat/phone?
Just phoned good guys near me. Gave me offer, tried to negotiate a bit lower but that was the best.

You won't find much deals unless you negotiate as these models are basically a direct order from LG as they're too big to keep in-store
