I had a prepaid service from coles mobile that expired in July. The service recently got terminated on Oct 7th. Just checking if there was any way to recover this? I’ve asked colesmobile but they insist it’s lost forever.
Having a look through ACMA, the number should be in a 6 month quarantine period but not having too much luck with Coles. Any advice? The number was originally issued by Optus

The number goes BACK to the issuing company it was originally assigned to. You’ll need to contact them to get the number back (https://www.thenumberingsystem.com.au/#/number-register/sear… will tell you)
I thought it only went back after the 6 month period. I’ve had a chat to Optus anyway and they say coles will have to activate the number first.
Might just be the issue of not talking to the right person.
Coles being Coles, a supermarket and not a proper telco, probably don't have a process in place to reactivate a number.
