The best prices are in the wet season between May and October next year. But that doesn’t mean it’s raining all the time. The rainy season in the Maldives adds to the romance of this tropical destination with light showers here and there, plenty of rainbows, and warm weather. I stayed there twice in August and we actually had beautiful weather. Not sure if we were just lucky but it always just rained for an hour or so and then the sun came out again for the rest of the day.
