Polygon Bicycles Black Friday Sale (e.g. Siskiu T8 $2,899, Was $3,599) + Delivery ($30 to MEL) @ BikesOnline

120

I've been eyeing off this bike for a while, both new and second hand, and this is the lowest I have seen it offered, including beating out some on FB Marketplace.

The discount is sitting around 20% for most of their bikes, which is nothing to sneeze at given how competitively priced they are to begin with.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2022

great bike for a great price, I've had my 2020 T8 for 2 years already

  • Wonder why they don't sell any 105 road bikes, seems like a massive oversight.

    • they do have strattos road bikes with 105 groupsets

The 105 road bikes go on sale tomorrow at 33% off

  • were these (and the syncline c3 and c8) 30% off about a month ago? currently around 25% off

I've seen the other bikes in their range, especially the Marin line, getting steeper discounts, but for the T8 specifically it's the best pricing I've seen.

The T7 and T8 haven't been discounted by this much before. Think the highest has been round 15 or 16%.
It's unlikely there will be much stock left by Black Friday on the Siskiu T's meaning they probably won't be on sale, so best grab the deal now.

  • I’d be wary of bikesonline. I purchased a polygon hybrid from them a few years back. I was initially impressed but within 3 months the chain and the seat had broke. Went back to the store, very difficult to deal with in terms of warranty repairs. Gave up in the end and repaired the bike myself.

    • Had an issue with the front shock on my T8 so sent it back and they repaired it. They may have just sent it to SRAM who manufactures Rockshox though but it was trouble free for me.

  • I'm tossing up the D7 o the T8, I'm certainly no pro and I'm unlikely to worry about upgrading anything unless it brakes. I'm not into extreme anything and im more likely to do trails than downhill but will inevedably do a bit of both. As an average rider do you think I could appreciate the upgraded components and geometry of the T8 and will it make the bike better for resale with the better components if Iwanted to upgrade in a few years?
