Need to work overseas for at least 2 months, whats the best way to pay the least for NBN while still keeping it for IoT devices like CCTV?
Any provider that allow "freeze" or "hybernate" period?

Hmm, you could use a belong sim in a smart modem but unsure if you will have problems with the CCTV access. Maybe dodo $10 for first month and go from there to save a dime

Optus 4G Wi-Fi Modem for $34. The Modem is locked, but it has a 28-day plan that you can use for the first month.

Once the plan has expired, you can just top it up again with a bit more data for the second month for $30 dollars. But this works out to $64 for 2 months, meaning it's not much cheaper than going for an NBN plan.

Well with Optus one can put there NBN plan on hold, im sure applies to other providers, I think was up ro 8 months obviously no internet while on hold but then maybe take a cheap simcard plan in the meantime with shaped unlimited data, usually speed shaped to 1.5mbps but seems fine for streaming services not sure will hold for CCTV streaming 🤔
