Not good for health with radiation in the bedroom
Try to avoid big electronic appliance in your sleeping area

He probably meant blue light emission? Oh wait blue ;)
never heard of this brand Linsar, can anyone share their experience?
As much of a household name as FFALCON
and quality Metz
it's a genuine Sorny
On a par with Bauhn, Eko, Failcon, Metz, JVC and Blaupunkt.
Hit and miss, cheap panels but bang for buck
I bought one for a friend, it's crap but it's cheap.
Same software as LG?
Same software as HP touchpad
I read somewhere earlier this year they were going to have Tizen but I recently helped a client set up his gear in a pool house and it was a linsar with web os.
Laggy as (profanity) and colours washed out but not bad for the price I reckon.
Washed out colour is only due to it being setup wrong. Setup correctly, it will have a 4K picture just as good as any other TV of the same tech. They often will have an identical panel.
The downfall of these is normally the upscaling, smooth motion etc. They often dont have the extra boards internally to do the post processing.
As for lag, turn off the animations in the developer options. Then same, same.
So if you are after a 4K only TV. Go for it. If you are looking for a gaming TV or something that upscales FTA and sport..avoid.
I’d be looking for QLED or even the other post of cheap 65” OLED but hey it’s a good room entertainment filler at a pinch

I was looking at getting one of these, stumbled across a YouTube video where a linsar tv was smoking from the back of the tv for a few seconds then a pop and tv was broken. After seeing that decided to stay away from linsar. Don't want the house to burn down when I'm not home.
Can't find the video otherwise would of posted here but reviews look pretty bad
That would be a cap letting go. 30 cent part, and usually a very easy fix, as it is easy to find.
But that is the issue with a price war to the bottom. Cheaper components need to be used and failures will happen. In fairness, expensive TVs will do the same..just less probability of it happening.
Considering as bedroom monitor, would this last at least few years?
