No more Tax. Woohoo!!!
Must be Americanese for EOFY.
Good price, rubbish selection :(
"The Brain That Changes Itself" is a VERY good book for people interested in brain plasticity - I've read it before (my hard copy cost $$$) and it helped me understand some personal brain changes that occurred after a traumatic car crash a few years ago.
So far I'm thoroughly enjoying "Confessions of a GP" which is good as I've been dealing with doctors all week.
"An Idiot Abroad" is very funny if you like that sort of thing.
Only problem, the Google Play Books app is absolute RUBBISH. Can't even change the text colour. Problem solved by using "calibre" eBook software with the "inepteplug" plugin to convert the Adobe DRM files into normal epub files. Now I can use the books with my eInk reader or FBReader on my Android tablet, both of which are much more configurable.
44 Best Fart jokes and Poems. Game over man, GAME OVER!
This is not new. The Play store has had books under $2.99 for months, including "An Idiot Abroad".
Thanks
Somehow double posted, sorry.
The Shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon for $1.99 is a good price.
Time for the bleeding obvious: what bloody shadow? Wind is just air moving from one place to another, the only time it'll cast a shadow is if there's mist/fog/cloud/particulate moving with it - in which case it's still not the wind casting a shadow.
Sorry, but it had to be said.
To the person who will inevitably reply to this: Yes, it did.
Lol it did :D
Awesome! Thanks for that, I just finished my book and couldn't sleep again, so I came online to chill out. Now I have five more cheap or free books to read :)
