Reviews seem hit and miss with some saying the quality is sub-par and blades don’t last long.

    • +8

Its a reciprocating blade, they never last long if you try and cut metal even the Diablo expensive ones. As for wood, they last months with regular use.

I have used these and I have layed out for the expensive ones.

      • You need plenty of lubricant, enough that it pulls away the heat. You also want a good grip, you want it to make careful, precise strokes.

        • Are we still talking about reciprocating saws?

  • Stick to Milwaukee for blades.

    • +3

Depends on price too, Milwaukee carbide teeth are impressive for cutting hard steel

Nearly vibrated my arm off cutting galv pipe.

        Fun stuff :D

      Diablo for me.

Always buy them on Amazon as price is about 1/3rd of Bunnings.

Delivery is more than $0 with Prime. It is from US, so you need to hit $49 spend to get free international shipping.

    • +5

Can confirm it is $0 with Prime

Bugger, logged in with my non-Prime account and didn't notice. Delete reference.

  • Got one with prime $0 delivery

    • If I buy this with CBA credit card, will they charge an international fee?
      Thank you

      • Why ? you are buying it from Amazon AU

Carbide teeth saw blade is worth the extra cost.

  • +4

I have these - only really suitable for wood. Diablos are much better.

      100% agree.

I got a Diablo demolition blade with carbide I think it is and that thing is still going strong after cutting through all kinds of stuff including metal.
Only the paint has worn off parts of the blade. Love it!

  • wonder if it would fit a ryobi one+ jigsaw

    • +3

Definately not a jigsaw blade. Should fit all recip saws though.

  • Do these fit any/all brands of recip saws?

    • +2

Yeah they are generic, been using eBay generic on my DeWalt.

  • Do these for Ozito recip saw?

  • Bought these last time. What is the case they refer to?

  • +1

a lot of upvotes, does everyone have a recip saw or something

    • they all have one from when masters shut down 😂

      • I have this one.

    • I use a recip saw more than any other power tool. I didn't even know they existed until approx 5 years ago. So versatile. Cut down a number of trees believe it or not.

  • shows $23

    • $13.12 with prime

      • thanks!

    We'll test that

The description reads like a Project Farm script.

    • Lol i read that in the project farm voice

  • Would be nice if they included at least one long blade say 30cm or so. I've used these and they are just ok. Certainly cheaper no brand blades I tried 2 snapped on the first go and one turned in a wobble board like blade. So these are ok. But still word be nice to find some affordable longer wood blades in this brand.

  • i was thinking to get these for diablo blades for tree pruning
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/diablo-12-fleam-ground-reciproca…
this set of 12" (30cm) blades seems to be the same price in amazon and bunnings

  • Nice find OP. Good timing.
