Get the Kogan one. It's much cheaper and pretty decent

Is that the one with the built in camera?

And comes with free onlyfans account.

    • How do you find it fits? I have a whale spout one and it's really not the right shape

      • What do you mean "not the right shape" please?
Thought it's more important that the water sprays the desired spot……

        • I think its the shape of the bowl. They differ.

How do you find it fits? I have a whale spout one and it's really not the right shape

There are plastic surgeons that specialise in this.

      • It's on the larger side.

So will require a larger toilet bowl.

Older houses tend to have smaller toilet bowls, as do town houses, units and apartments.

Recommend measuring your existing toilet seat before buying. In particular the depth of the seat (width usually ok)

    • but the Kogan one is sold out?

Bought one this for $299 at Bunnings last week.

    • Did you install yourself or you got someone to install it?

      • Not yet.

    • $299 or $399. Let us know how it ends up fitting please. (Shape wise)

      • $299, I can provide a receipt if anyone wants to price match.

I am sorry, the ticket price was $299 in the store, sales price is $175.

        • Awesome. Will go shopping on the weekend

          • @kulprit: Hey! I bought this a few months ago and have been using it for a while- I can't really comment on the fit since I'm not 100% sure how large the old seat was to begin with- the only problem that I have is the colour doesn't 100% match my toilet but that's purely an aesthetic problem :)

That's a very good price. How did you get that? It's currently $399 on Bunnings website.

    • Iv'e had this one for a couple years at least now after the Xiaomi broke. installed it myself no problem. I recommend

These look like rebranded DIB units?

  • +1

Just FYI for whoever is interested in these, you need fresh water connection. Places where recycled water is use for flush tanks, not recommended.

    • +1

I have recycled water so I ended up hooking it to my sink connection using a T-connector. This is where a blackflow preventer is important.

  • "Back flow preventer" sounds quite an important item to have.

  • Does this Bidet require a filter?. The biggest issue with alot of the Bidet on the market that uses a filter is that the filters can be pretty hard to find and will need to be considered as it adds to the ongoing cost.

    • No filter required as I understand for bidets that use water from "fresh" sources. Filters are required for "recycled or rainwater" for a good reason.

  • Does this have enough power to get those dry bits of poo or solidified toilet paper from a previous wipe that stick to your butt hairs off?

    • +1

You might be joking, but this will only have the same amount of pressure as your mains as it doesn't look to have it's own pump. So it will vary.

The pricier ones have a pump and can take the paint off your walls if you are interested in that sort of thing.

    • May need to soak bum before using

Hmm made in Korea is attractive. They make some of the best bidet's.

    • +2

Living in Korea now for 8 years, I completely agree. Hard to live without one hahah

  • That's their normal price.

  • Needs electrical outlet in toilet

  • For $600 it would want to it blow dry style your pubes at teh end

  • I've had 4 bidets so far, the $200 ones seem to break every 2-3years for me. (I've had 3 break so far and currently have just 1 working one in the house).
I wonder if this more expensive unit will last longer.

This is the bidet I bought after my Xiaomi broke. I actually bought it via ebay because you could use coupons but I think the price went back up on ebay last time I checked.

I can confirm a few things, they give you a back flow preventor and a 1/2 flexi-cable for the seat included. It is definitely a rebranded DIB unit as the manual didn't have instructions to turn off the annoying LED light (hold "+" button whilst off the seat for a few seconds).

I paid double the price for one of these units v.s. the Xiaomi and I think it is worth it so far. The water pressure is higher, the fact that it uses a standard 1/2" hose is easier to replace in future. The cons are that it only has one year warranty, the dryer is almost useless for the most part and it smells of "fresh factory". There seems to be a slot for the deodoriser but it is blocked, I might open it up and see if it is plug and play if I can find one.

Since I was dubious of the RRP I didn't post it as a deal. But overall I would recommend it as the toilet paper savings will add up if it doesn't fail.

  • What's it going to cost me to get a power outlet in the loo?

  • Lol! There is a wireless option… For you know, when you want to clean your partner from the other room.
