My 11yo son enjoys reading this (we received it as a gift)

    • Good on them. My kids both read it at around that age and now love learning science in high school.

I'd rather my kids read this magazine that watch Netflix.

Geez, Double Helix. Haven't thought about that since primary school in the late 90s. Pleased to hear it is still going!

    • Yeah, blast from the past. I used to go to the Double Helix club at CSIRO Lindfield after school. They had a lab full of hands-on experiments. My favourite was the laser set-up with splitters, mirrors and lenses.

  • My mum tried to get me to read this when I was a 90s kid. She was distraught at finding the unread first copy of the subscription in the bin. I was an ungrateful gobshite I know.
