Worth the upgrade over Galaxy buds pro?
I just had a quick google regarding that and they say nope, unless you want lossless audio and better 360 degree audio
on audio quality alone? yes. although i won't get into an essay about the harman target.
Please do.
crazy good price! RRP is $349 not $299 and they are $279 in the EDU store currently.
rtings review says better ANC than apple airpods pro. Battery life seems to be the biggest negative but if you dont use them for super long periods its irreverent anyway.

Seems like a decent deal. I've got the OG Buds Pro and they are great.
back to $305.75…
And it's gone
damnit, just paid 250 for these at officeworks.
They sound pretty good, very detailed and nicely balanced with good bass extension. soundstage is very narrow to be expected.
The ANC is good but not as good as over-the-ear headphones such as wh1000xm2
Can I ask about the transparency mode? Does it sound natural or still a way to go compared to Airpods Pro?
I find ambient mode to sound very natural! I was impressed
yeah pretty natural to me

Been waiting on a deal on Buds live. I missed it when it was 129 on amazon
They're less than that brand new on ebay
Currently 119 on catch, but Amazon does run sales often and will probably go under 129 in the near future.
Really good deal considering how these are pretty new in the market and as it's meen mentioned the RRP is $349. Can't even find second hand this cheap, shame deal is over already :(
Had the original buds pro. Those were surprisingly balanced. I felt the ANC on that was pretty decent. And i was lucky i had no issues with fit or skin reactions.
Then sold that and got an xm4. Out of the box very bass heavy but once you tweak the sound; wow. Anc is better than the og buds pro, though not by that much as some reviewers say.
I will probably get the buds pro 2 in the near future. But these are my 2c
XM3 were more bass heavy believe it or not. I had to crank it up on the 4s.
Great price for great buds. Highly recommend if it comes back.
these or pixel buds pro?
Managed to score one for my daughter thanks OP
Black friday is coming and also prime day
Black Friday, yes. But wasn't Amazon Prime day back in July?
Buds Plus still going strong but might bite on this next time it goes on sale. Just one concern, have they fixed the copper allergy issue? Doesn't seem as widespread a issue as their previous one. Not even sure if I have the allergy but just to be safe.
Yeah, its what kept me away from the Buds2 and the OG Buds Pro. I wonder if they've fixed it now.
When I saw the photo, I thought it was a pie maker. Didn’t seem like a bargain at $200.
I'm still using the Galaxy Buds from s10/s20 period. Are these "Pro" versions a lot better as an upgrade in terms of sound?
Also keen to know! Those original Buds are still pretty great to my ears.
I am an avid buds enjoyer and I would definitely say that Buds Pro, Buds 2, and (hopefully, dont have one yet) Buds 2 Pro are an upgrade to sound.
iirc, the original buds had one audio driver. The newer models have dual drivers which helps with separation and distinction of more ranges at once (allows for clearer highs with less muddier bass)
At the very least, going from Original Buds to 2 is an already decent upgrade in sound, especially if you get it discounted.
I had the original buds until recently as the mic stopped working well and made it hard to hear me on calls. I loved them otherwise, great fit with the wing tips and great sound.
Got the buds 2 now for $162 on amazon and still good sound, mic is clear, but the fit isn't as good without the wing tips, which none of the bud models have anymore. Still a great option if you dont want to spend $200+.
upgraded to these from the Buds +
sound quality is much improved and the addition of ANC is awesome
however it was pretty uncomfortable, to the point of painful.
fit wasn't great either, buying some comply foam tips helped dramatically
Ah bugger looks like missed out. Price back to $288 for me 😥
Damn was looking for this for my mom. Thanks for sharing op!
Gutted I've missed those. Been checking for weeks for them on marketplace, nothing under $250… Hope the deal comes back 🤞
Was this a price error? Will it come back to this price?
good price.
