These Rockzilla monster trucks are reasonably large. Main truck uses rechargable batteries.

Great for younger kids not ready for a more professional RC vehicle.

      We got one last year. So it’s a once off kinda present, there is a show and you kinda get a firby at the end. It’s very meh

      Bought one from Amazon in July for $85 for my daughter. i think there was two sets of potion in the kit but only one doll inside. Think u can buy more potions after. My daughter only plays with the doll now…but when she first did the "magic"…the joy on her face was priceless. I guess it was worth $85 just to see her eye glowing while she was performing the magic. Btw you have to charge the cauldron before use and it is charged by micro-usb.

          She just unwrapped it yesterday so we haven’t used it yet.

        Yes, there is a usb cable attached to the batteries. You don’t plug the car in but you take the cover off and plug a usb connector cable (supplied) to the battery. The batteries are removable/replaceable and even upgradable

      This is a much more recommended approach but would aim for the wltoys range. Smaller scale yes but replacement parts are plentiful.

      The throwaway toy grade stuff will just end up in landfill.

      I went a different direction and got my young fella an arrma granite with the dr dialled right down. Extreme perhaps but I'm already heavily invested in the hobby and it can also take a heavy beating.
