  Strange at this price range. Even my mediocre Xbox headset has USB C. Reviews say it charges fast though, so maybe it doesn't need it?

    It's not about charging speed, it's about only having to bring a single connector type. I had my mk1 headphones for about 4 years…so carrying a micro usb connector 4 years from now is just inconvenient. Not a problem, but there is no reason not to get the Sony's which do have usbc.
    
    As a note, the mk1 headphones I thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm still running my original PXC 550 (I also have the PXC 250 and PXC 450). The only thing I don't like about Sennheiser is the lack of a proper equaliser.

I won't buy this one >200$ at this stage. The one I got has a misbehaved microphone (random signal lost) & the on/off switch is not responding really well.

Ripper set of headphones. Thrash these consistently for over a year currently and they haven't missed a beat
