Boost Mobile How to Delete Saved Credit Card Details ?

has anyone had the problem where you want to delete the saved credit card in the boost app but it won't let you ?

It will let you add another card then delete the old one but will not let you just delete the card and enter one at the time of recharge and no I do not have auto recharge enabled.

I am looking at using vouchers and want to remove my CC from the system but it is proving more difficult than it should be. Online chat can't help they say they can't see the card and it needs to be done through the app yet when you click the delete card option it says it can't do it and try again later.

    Just add a fake one then.

    Call them on the phone support number as chat did not work.

      Have done that and was promised it would be resolved but typically all promises and no action

    It may be in their T&C's that they always need to keep a valid card in their system?

    If all else fails, you could do it via a privacy complaint process. Probably not worth that level of bureaucracy/effort though.

      Techincally it's much easier to just either update card on boost to a fake or prepaid one.

      or to just cancel CC and order a replacement CC like as if lost/ stolen

    Get a prepaid CC from PO. Use it to replace the CC on record. Spend the available balance, then forget about it.

      Good idea but how about they put customer and service into the same sentence for a change…..

    That's another reason why I never put my real CC details, always try to use one time card from Zip, or revolut wherever possible for these sort of purposes
