If you have too many points built up they won’t be offered to you
Not my experience; I had over 250k sitting and just finished a 10k offer last week. I do find the offers to be slightly 'lumpy' - I might get 2 offers more or less one after the other, then the next offer might be 3 months later.
Why would you have that many points built up?

Warehoused them for when I need them. Wanted to redeem with Singapore Air Krisflyer via Velocity, and since Krisflyer points have an expiry and Flybuys don't it's safer to keep your points where they're most flexible.
@carwashhair: How do you redeem Singapore Air flights? Do you need to transfer from FB to Velocity then to Krisflyer, or do you book SQ flights via Velocity?
@leiiv: @leiiv you can do either. Check points needed on both Krisflyer and Velocity sites (factor in the 1.55/1 Velocity>Krisflyer transfer ratio), and book where the best value in points and fees/charges lie. If going for SIA premium cabins, you may get better availability thru Krisflyer.
Guess 200K points aren't too much then since I got the 10K offer too.

One of them just wrapped up yesterday, $60 spend for 4 weeks and get 10k points. THere was one immediately before that too.
They are targeted. If you didn't get any recently then it's because Coles hasn't selected you for any one of a dozen reasons.
Maybe 7 times per year. You may not be invited every time.
At the moment I'm getting the "one off" purchase offers, e.g. spend $150 in one transaction and get 6,000 points.
Do you still shop and scan your card?..
I have noticed the exact same thing :( just after i added an additional member (partner) to my account, Flybuys stopped showing those offers to me. Also re-installed app to make sure the latest version of app is not defective etc. But still no deals.. Did you also add a new member to your account at that date ? or was it just a coincidence
simply put, flybuys like any other "loyal" reward card is not to reward loyal customers.
From a business perspective, if you always shop with them with or without any incentives, they know they don't need to do anything to get you to shop with them. Hence no reward for you.
Best way is to create multiple accounts with different details, alternate your reward card when shop to trick the system to think that you are not a loyal customers. Now they need to do more to get you back to shop with them.
Now this dude knows Flybuys!
What you say makes sense, but it doesn't mean how it works in reality. I shop at Coles every week and I still get the bonus Coles Fly Buys offers all the time. We rack up a number of points. Earlier this year I got a free iPhone 13 via Fly Buys points, and I'm well on the way to having enough to get another one.
Maybe or maybe just the matter of time.

It's not that hard. We shop at Coles and have an NAB credit card that gives 1 point per dollar spent. It soon adds up with the bonus points from Coles. We've got heaps of stuff free from fly buys, top end toasters, sandwich presses, kettle, iPhone, iPad, etc
I used to get these every time. I haven't had anything from the last 3 or 4 rounds now.
