Been looking for a 850w white psu and came across this. Seems to be a solid deal comparatively to other sellers and is platinum rated. Reviews seem to be good too.

Yes
This is a standard size ATX power supply and will fit in an ATX case like the Lancool II.
The only potential issue would be needing to move the hard drive cage further forward if you find less than a desirable amount of room for the cables in the PSU shroud. Although you could just also remove the hard drive cage entirely. Just one note to save you time potentially is that the hard drive cage detaches towards the PSU so you need to do this prior to installing the PSU.
This deal has expired.
Am I the only one seeing $292?
$292 here as well

Personally would choose a $189 Gold Corsair RM850 as this PSU has some weird issues:
Ridiculous placement of the LED means the fan has to be mounted up, not down like 99% of cases are built for.
It makes a high pitched whining noise when getting near 500W draw, even though it supports up to 850W and is platinum certified.
The RGB glitches out occasionally and flickers at times and the device only has 3x 8pin power connectors for PCIe so with an RTX 3080 you cannot use any other PCIe devices that require external power.
Overall I am quite disappointed in the model and albeit it having never failed on me, all the complaints on the Asus forums are legitimate.Would an RM850 Corsair be sufficient to power a 6900XT and a 5600x?
Already have the CPU but waiting for a good deal on last gen AMD in the next month or so.Yes
If you are not building right now, wait for the PSU deals heading into Black Friday
Generally, an ATX PSU is only a "deal" ifa) it is A Tier and
b) is cheaper than the comparable wattage Corsair RM/HX modelFor reference, the recent Deepcool Gold deals were 750W $119, 850W $139 and 1000W $199
Sounds fair. Just playing the waiting game right now. Black Friday better be good.
@mu11yy: 1000W Deepcool PQ1000M for $182.40 - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09MRSF8ZC
Looks like Amazon jacked price after (I suspect) x units got sold
Is platinum real? Thought it went up to gold?
If so is there much differencehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrhuOwNdkA4
worth watching.the labelling isn't as useful as people think nowadays.
Hi will this fit in a Lancool II case?
