Breville BES810 Duo-Temp Pro or Sunbeam EM4300 Mini Barista?

These seem to be at the same entry level; maybe that's why they're displayed back to back at Big W. Breville is generally more expensive: the Sunbeam was $170 at Myer last year, and the Breville was $255 at Big W this past June.

UPDATE: I've added DeLonghi Dedica, which is at the same price level of the Sunbeam.

I had the mini barista. It was an OK machine, with a good milk frother.
But since getting the DeLonghi Dedica, my coffees have been more delicious. I don't know why.

    • Thanks for the feedback; I've added it to the poll.

      • The frother on the Dedica is hopeless, so I had to buy a separate frother. Personally, I'd probably choose the Breville. It looks better too. The Mini barista looked like a hunk of ugly plastic in the kitchen. The Dedica is narrow, so it's useful if you have a small kitchen.

Sunbeam quality has really gone downhill the past decade IMO.

I still have one of their EM3800 machines which I love (gives off 1950’s Fallout 3 vibes) and is still going strong but the Mini Barista machine is quite plasticky.

I have a soft spot for the Sunbeam brand but I probably wouldn’t consider buying their products anymore.
