@xoom: Cheers
I love these cookies.. Biron bay cookies. Yum!
and the shortbread is made in the yarra valley …..
Their shortbread is the best!
Great find OP.
You are a legend! Will go and pick all of varieties.
Thanks
How do these compare to arno TTS or the other cookie brands? Or even compared to comes branded cookies?
Arnotts is 10x better
Which ones
These cookies are a bit more cake-like and have more interesting flavours. Not as hard/crunchy as a traditional Aussie cookie.
Pretty much this. Byron Bay cookies are much crumblier and IMO a little too floury. I'd rather Arnotts.
Which arnotts is comparable??
@capslock janitor: Try them all and let us know.
@Frunk: Send me the care package
I prefer Byron Bay cookies any day over arnotts.
depends which arnotts.
Yummo! Thanks for the heads up OP. Headin' after work tom to grab (greedily) all flavours.
The best cookies ever
Thanks! I'll try these 6 varieties this week.
Sounds tempting but gotta get shredded abs for summer
Username checks out
He's a dollar right now
Thanks…I love their macadamia cookies - Woolies here I come !!!!
Bake some
Had trouble following your directions and accidentally got baked instead.
Instructions where unclear.
When I bought these in the past, I found them a bit disappointing. The cookies were small and didn't taste like much.
read the ingredients ….nothing exciting about some of the cookies ….especially when vegetable oil is used instead of butter ….
Theres butter
Depends what flavour, I personally found the Rocky Road and Triple Choc to be a bit bland. Dotty and the mac/white choc to be pretty nice.
These are great for a small sweet treat that won’t break the Kilojoule bank.
my fav cookies!
Never liked them they should be 50c
Ingredients
wheat flour, milk compound chocolate (27%) (sugar, vegetable fat [soy lecithin, 492], milk solids, cocoa powder, emulsifiers [soy lecithin, 476], flavour, salt), butter, sugar, confectionary (8%) (milk compound chocolate [sugar, vegetable oil, milk solids, cocoa powder, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, 476, 492), flavour], sugar, corn starch, glazing agents (414, 903), natural colours [titan white, spirulina extract, beta carotene, red beetroot powder, black Ycarrot extract]), egg, cultured dextrose, raising agent (500, 450), maize starch, soy lecithin, salt, natural vanilla flavour.
they weren't very good and use compound chocolate rather than real chocolate.
hard to get biscuits with basic ingredients like butter instead of vegetable fat and compound chocolate is yuk ….. an industrial mainstream product, at least arnotts use real chocolate in more of their product lines ….
Ingredients for the Byron Bay Macadamia Shortbread Bites are: wheat flour (wheat flour, thiamin, folate), butter (30%) (pasteurised cream, salt), sugar, macadamia nuts (5%). So they use butter and have no additives.
I enjoy the bigger Byron Bay cookies after donating blood, these mini ones look nice too
Does your centre still offer them? Haven't seen them at mine for about 3 years
Yeah last time I was there they did!
Im missing out then. My centre only got hot food the last 12 months
Anyone know when this deal expires?
It's a weekly special, so Tuesday should be the last day.
Damn, what happened to the Tropical Mango & Passionfruit and the Coconut Lamington ones I bought last time?
Picked up them yesterday and tried the Triple choc today morning with a cup of longblack.
Just so so to me, normal cookie but good size for one bite.
I preferred Costco Famous Amos chocolate chip cookie box but not sure sale in Australia.
