Can stack with this deal:
These or Airpod pro 2s?
compare this to XM5
Kinda apple and orange.
These to have noise cancelling beyond all measure. But they are big over ear cans. Very comfortable. Last for days.
Airpods to have extreme portability with really really good noise cancelling, and so light you'll forget you're wearing them. Last for hours.
Source: own both.
I bought a pair recently to use for in the office music and teams meetings.
I bought them over the Sony due to the mute function these have. They decent for all of the above, battery life is at least 2 (office) days they're light and comfortable.
Mute function is a bit fiddly but better than not having one, its missing some nicer XM4/5 features like auto pause when taking them off and the EQ is fairly basic but does the job.for $360 (if you stack the other deal) its a decent deal.
if you stack the other deal
Link?
How is the call quality through MS teams and mobile phone calls?
Thanks ops and @RichardL bought one for upcoming trip, got on Amazon, already got a few QCs a few years back, now everyone in the family has one no one should whinge on long oversea flight any more
Purchased last year for same price , wow…. It's really holding up
I'm still gonna remind everyone here:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12771319/redirI bought the Bose NC700 and the leather is peeling off the muffs ~10 months old. Leather itself is fine, but is separating from the seam and can see the foam. I use them every day for work, but still. Pretty poor for a 'premium' product. Looks to have the same or similar pads to QC45.
Yeah I had this issue with my QC15s, QC25s and recently on my A20s - barley used them (only for aircraft travel)
There are many replacements online though.Did get a warranty replacement earmuff but still… shouldn't have to claim or buy replacements for $400+ headphones in sub 12-month period. I had some Turtle Beach that lasted much longer and even some Aliexpress special which were cheap junk. SQ was obiouvsly inferior but $400 is not cheap for headphones. I do have some other Bose equipment for TV/HiFi which works great.
On the Bose website it shows these as the QuietComfort SE's.
I thought this QC45 might be an older model, so they might be discounted further on clearance soon. But it seems like they both use Bluetooth 5.1, so they are the same model just with a name change?
Edit: Um ok I just looked at All noise cancelling models on the Bose AU websit and both QC45 and SE are showing. But the newer SE model is cheaper??
They look the same so can anyone explain which is meant to be the better model and what the differences are?
Same price at Amazon AU
