I have purchased some furniture from Amart, a lounge specifically. The sides of the furniture have been faulty and a noticeable bump inwards of the lounge.
I have raised a warranty claim as the lounge is under six months from purchase, an outsourced lounge repair company has come inspect and the person that came has told me that the internals are made from cheap cardboard and are prone to failure. They stated that they will send a report out for someone to come fix it.
I gave Amart a call trying to follow up and they are saying that the report states it is customer error and not manufacturer, it's impossible for it to be customer error as the areas of damage aren't even exposed in a way that could be damaged (the side closest to a wall). It's not like I go around kicking furniture….
What can i do in this case to fight it?
Does it?
