OzBargain is turning 16!

Just putting this as a placeholder as people keep asking about the Melbourne cbd meetup. We have paid a deposit and booked the Tavern at Fortress. I will post a deal later closer to the date so there is nothing you need to do now.

Similar to Last years meetup, same setup however we've been able to up the attendees to 75 from 50. $5

    The venue just wanted to remind everyone of their minors policy:

    Under-18s are not permitted to enter the venue after 7pm OR to be unaccompanied at any time. Before 7PM they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, and must leave before 8PM.

    If you are under 18 (or cannot provide a valid photo ID when asked to prove your age) you must register with your guardian/responsible adult at our Emporium reception (Shop 25, Lower Ground, Emporium Shopping Centre) and be wristbanded. This wristband identifies minors and helps us to continue to serve alcohol in our venue responsibly.

    Under-18s Access Hours
    Under-18s are permitted to enter the venue until 7PM each day, and must leave before 8PM.

    • Also, there have been some cancellations coming in and we've opened up the waitlist a few times now. You have 6 hours to purchase your ticket so please do check emails coming from Eventbrite.
    • Given the limited supply of t-shirts, we are limiting t-shirts to 1 per person. I'm aware there are some attending multiple events so we are trying to be fair for everyone.
    • We have ordered some vegan pizzas. There are people attending who will ONLY be able to eat these and nothing else. Please give these people a chance to have them.

      I did an audit of the 2021 t-shirts. As of now I have:

      25 L
      17 x xl
      10 x 2xl
      15 x M

      Maybe I'll put an option for 2021 T-Shirt with the tickets.

      Booking is until 8pm and Fortress open until 10ish. Also keep in mind, Emporium closes at 9 so entrance/exit will be through their side laneway after 9.

    Hi @neil, I tried to reserve a ticket as I was waitlisted last year but when I try to get the ticket, the eventbrite page seems to have bugged out and crashed, so I went to try again, now it says I've already used my access code, even though I don't yet have a ticket.
    Any thoughts?

    Having problems getting the ticket. It is saying i exceeded the number of tickets provided with my promo code. even when i am only entering 1 ticket

          Yep same. It showed 3 remaining when I first tried to click on it (12:30) but didn't let me check out. I think as neil said, probably because they were already in carts.

            @Firexx: Yeah, I kept trying when it showed 1-3 remaining after multiple refreshes and it always gave me the "highlighted fields" error :(

      I'm seeing 4 left in the dashboard. I think when people have tickets in their cart, it holds it until fully checked out.
