Buy and deal with any consequences later. This is the Ozbargain way.

I can't help. Partial to the Hyperboom myself. Had one for almost 2 years. Use it daily.

If you don’t need it. Just ignore this post altogether cos the more you look at it, the more it will convince you to buy. Don’t fall for the debt trap.

Also can get it for $467 if you have access to The Good Guys Commercial.

  • Recently bought the JBL Partybox Go with 2 mics included and must say the sound on it was really good. I use it for my karaoke setup and sometimes just leave it on as my TV's "soundbar" and it's actually decent enough. Audiophiles will obviously disagree but if you can find a use case for these things they are worth it.

    • what mic brand was it? looking to set it up for karaoke also but the mics from jb don't have good reviews

The best thing about the Go is that it comes with 2 JBL mics paired already (some sets are sold with only 1 mic be careful). It worked really well so I ordered this:

    https://www.jbl.com.au/WIRELESS-MICROPHONE-.html

In addition to the 2 mics that come with it, the Go also has one more mic input, hence me buying the 2 extra mics to make it 4. I'm hoping it will work well with 4 mics but can't tell until I receive the 2 extra mics.

The Go also has a treble, bass and echo knob for the mics - works well.

It's just the usual 3.5mm AUX input from the TV.

Sign up to Karafun or one of them Karaoake apps and boom - adult night sorted.

    • How much did you buy it for? How do both compare?

      • $495 for the Go, plus $149 for the extra mics. I do not have the Partybox 310, bearing in mind the 310 is more powerful, but doesn't come with mics.

  • This device does not have a microphone, but JBL Partybox Go comes with two default wireless microphones, which is more convenient and useful.
    Thanks

  • If you have thegoodguys commercial, jbl partybox 710 only $660 which I believe a good price.

  • Oos now

  • I've got a 710 and I am impressed with the microphone inputs. If I connect them directly to my karaoke player I get a lot of hiss and feedback, but connected into the 710 I get none.

    Highly recommend these speakers.
