    Shit The Bed

    Yea nahā€¦.

    • +4

It's good shit though, tasty AF until it hits ya…

Will admit though, if you like some extra flavour and a touch of heat, slather a pea sized bit of this stuff on your next burger or rissole. Goes well with Bacon and Eggs too. Just use in moderation, unless you really like the burn.

thanks for the description, it makes a lot of sense to me

They need to be represented by amber heard

      It's Amber Turd šŸ’©

  • I've tried this before. Pretty spicy.

    • +30

      So, did you, you know?

      • I don't need anything to help me with that

    • Out of curiousity, did it taste sweet? The ingredients on the website say some orange juice, goji berries and coconut sugar. I was curious to buy and give it a go, but I don't like sweeter chilli sauces.

      • I found like similar to sriracha, but aggressively sharp and spicy.

        • Cool thanks for the info. Might leave it then.

          • @generalpayne: If you have a sophisticated palate like me it actually has a surprisingly wide spread of flavour. You can definitely pick up the citrus etc. I thought it would be just one-dimensional sriracha-like heat. But it's actually very complex. You only need a very tiny tiny amount!

  • Holy shit

IKR 25% off, couldn't believe it

      Shitting the Bed: priceless

    • +1

ROI is shit on the bed. Not useful ;)

      • At least cheaper than your 180 bucks mouse

        • Oh That definitely is. But you know, I dont wnt to shit the bed.

          • @[Deactivated]: That is not what she said :)

            • @HolyCr4p: Damn, you are OK with me being with her ? ;)

      • You can make something interesting by shitting to the computer :o

Cheers, have always been curious about this sauce, but never bothered to pick one up before.

FWIW, 236ml is the more relevant info (rather than item weight 550 grams copied from the listing).

  • matter of fact, I don't need to spend $13.50 to shit my bed

    • Address please

I am going wet the bed too woohoo

  • Does this product live up to its name?

    • +4

I didn't fulfil the labels promise but my then 10 YO son loved to proudly proclaim that "it made my dad late for work".
      I like it…

  • +1

No deal. Factor in laundry for sheets. Just not worth it.

    • There's a laundry voucher include under the bottle

      Little known fact.

  • +2

Work has some of this, it's. It not too bad, but not shit the bed level or likely to cause anal leakage as the warning on the label says

    • I agree, It's very tame for a hot sauce.

  • +3

The founder of that company is a pushy weirdo, so it's a no from me.

    • +1

You would have to be a lowlife to use a name like that, out of all the other options.

  • Single bottle pack seems OOS?

  • +3

This might make the perfect accompaniment to the glass coffee table that I purchased as wedding gift for a German couple that I'm aquainted with…

  • Make sure you get chipotlaway to go with this

For anyone else who wants something less spicy and more flavor

Bunsters 8/10 Heat Hot Sauce - (Australian Hot Sauce Packed with Fruit and Veg)

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B06ZYN679R/ref=ppx_yo_dā€¦

    • I prefer this one and their Salami Sauce is awesome too (6/10 heat)

    • Yep, I prefer this version. You can slather it on stuff and it works great as a salsa. I used to be able to buy it from a local IGA for $8, pre-inflation hikes

  • Gonna need a Bungster to go with this Bunster STB

  • just remember, hot on the way in, hot on the way out….

  • 12/10 for creative naming .. šŸ˜‹ .. !!

    • From memory they have a "black" 14/10 version too

  • +1

Noticed that most Australian hot sauces always contain lots of sugar (in this case coconut sugar which has still same number of calories) compared to hot sauces made in central America which usually don't add sugar.

    • +1

That's because they tend to be fermented like tobasco or traditional Mexican fair. Check out Melbourne hot sauce or Sabarac. There are good Aus brands but supermarkets don't often stock them

      • Sabarac looks pretty good. Which ones have you tried?

    • It's because we're classier and more complex.

  • Does it come with a money back guarantee.

  • They must be in bed with the mattress industry.

  • +1

This sauce is actually super tasty, however so so so so hot. I was happy to try it, but no way would i have it again.

If you like hot sauce and can take the heat you may enjoy it.

PS my bed was clean after

  • Mine just got delivered.

Haven't eaten it with anything yet, but had a teaspoon just to try it (edit: two full teaspoons now), and it's not too bad. Has a kick to it, but not really that hot (definitely not "crap the bed" hot), but the flavour is really nice.

Compared to my current go-to sauce (Culley's Brutality), I feel it is a lot less heat (like, this tastes like a salsa in comparison), but perhaps more flavour.

So far (from one teaspoon only), I like it. Enough that I'm definitely interested in their 16/10 Black Label sauce now - OP, let us know if you find a deal on that one! Cheers.

Edit: Just to clarify, when I say not really that hot, I'm not saying it doesn't have heat…just nowhere near enough to deserve a "12/10" rating. I think we're being very liberal giving out 10+ ratings here…(ie. I think their rating scale is nonsense.) I just tasted a second whole teaspoon of it, and there is like no residual heat at all. Compared to the "13/10" (different scales obviously) Brutality I tasted back to back, a drop of that had far far more heat. I would give the Bunsters a 10/10 heat rating in comparison. I'm guessing their "16/10" will be more comparable to the "13/10" Brutality.

Tl;dr - Heat level is disappointing, given the heat rating (self given scale) and expectations from choosing such a name, but flavour is great. Overall, a (qualified) thumbs up from me.
