I wish to sell my Hyundai Tucson 2016 Active X car. Could you please suggest best websites / forums for the same? I have listed it on Marketplace and Carguilde.com.
Carsales charges $105 for listing. Are there any other options that you would recommend?
I've sold three cars all using Carsales. From my experience, Carsales attracts people with the intention of buying the vehicle. Forget about Marketplace, it's a cesspool.
As a seller:
Carsales attracts a more genuine interest and you don’t get ghosted daily.
As a buyer:
Anyone willing to spend money selling a car ($50-100 for the ad) shows to me they are not cheapskates and probably were also willing to fix things as needed along the way and not take the cheap option out.

I would be looking at one of those places where they inspect it and offer a price to get a ballpark

Read up on the scams, be cautious with payment and check your insurance conditions/restrictions.

seriously, if you're not selling on carsales you are just wasting your time and probably gonna get a lower price as there is less serious buyers. For a saving of only $100 bucks you're shooting yourself in the foot not listing it on carsales.
I remember talking to a guy who wanted to sell their house themselves and not list on realestate and domain, like they can find a buyer elsewhere. He only got low ball offers 50k-100k less than his final sale price after selling it properly.
Carsales is the main one people look at beyond marketplaces.
