      Those who believe this is damaging to the environment need a reality check and probably some medication.

      Consumers will keep these containers for years. And in many situations there is no alternative. For example, what idiot would give a child a fragile (and therefore dangerous) glass container to be used as a lunch box for school?

      Or perhaps you fancy cardboard as a lunch box, and a backpack full of leaking vegetable oil?
