I've just switched to Powershop and I'm trying to get the most value out of the Powerpacks. My consumption is low and with I have solar too.
Should I pre-purchased the powerpacks which spend $10 get $10 credit, or wait for the monthly bill? What's the benefits of pre-purchasing since there's no extra discount?
I still get monthly discounted $30 powerpacks. Getting one every month, last one bought Sept 2022 (was called "February")

Wait for the monthly bill. Only buy the discounted powerpacks (I get offered one per month for $30 and pay $25 for it)

Yep. Roughly once per month in your account's "shop" tab, you will see a future powerpack to buy. "Buy $30 worth of future credit for just $25 today". Just buy them, all of them, as soon as they appear in your account. That's it. For the balance of your account let Powershop charge you when they get to it. Don't buy powerpacks at full price early —> no point in doing that
they've stopped doing powerpacks, at least i haven't seen them for ages
