Oh jv, is there anything you won’t say ?

      • -2

        Freedom of Speech.

      • +12

        "thanks.. very much appreciated"

  • +4

Awesome!!! Save me some bucks to buy happiness for missy

  • -8

    Timezone still exists!?

  • can you share these between 2 x kids or do you need 1 of each?

    • +6

you can share with anyone, just swipe and it deducts for use straight away

      • +2

        perfect thanks

    • +9

You can only use 1 card but the card can be shared/passed around.
eg. both kids want to vs each other in mario kart, just swipe for kid 1, then quickly swipe for kid 2. Press a button for each player to join same game.

    • +1

can share but its also good to spilt so they can manage there own funds and tickets and not need to fight over it!

      • so can you load $100 get $200 then split ?

        • +3

No, it goes into one card. You'll have to load 60 seperately into two cards each.

        • +2

I think you have 12 months of inactivity before they expire.

        • no so will need to add 100 and each separately or 60 in each

      • Nah, it's a good lesson for the kids to learn how to share themselves (including fight over it and resolve the problem themselves), it'll teach them resiliency

        • I think that's the exact plot to Battle Royale!

  • +12

I go there for the coin tokens game. It helps with my pokies addiction.

    • Haha me too. Do you have the marvel one?

    • Also teaches kids from a young age that pumping coins into a machine for little to no return is an acceptable practice.

  • Can you use the credit across all branches or just specific timezone where you load the card?

    • +3

All branches. Can use at kingpin as well. Might have to go to the counter to "activate" it if you're travelling interstate.

Cards don't work for overseas branches.

      • +6

I've been able to use my card across 3 states without the counter needing to do anything.

        • Was not the case for me

          • +1

@neonlight: My card is Kingpin. I need to get Timezone since I'm at platinum.

      • No you can't use interstate. I was told they have border restrictions with timezone cards

  • +1

    Do these expire?

    • +1

One year from your last used date.

      • +1

Credit still there if you topup again even after 1 year

  • +3

November?? But I want it nooowww!

    • +10

Excuse me, we are TimeZone not TimeNow

      • Why can’t we just have TimeZone Now?

      • +1

        TimeZones did have TimeCrisis

  • Ad says 12th but banner on website says 14th

    • I believe starting from 14th October is the general school holiday promo i.e. 50% bonus from $60 reload.

  • +37

Now. Double dollars is fine, but its time to OzBargain it :

    • Go to Costco and pick up the $50 vouchers for $39.50, lets call it $300 worth for $237
    • Head to king pin (melbourne) and load up the $300 of vouchers and get $600 worth of credit
    • For every $100 you get a spin on their "big wheel", anything from a drink to a double pass for bowling. So three spins.
    • THEN, claim the $300 on "uncle dan's entertainment scheme" and get $75 back

Therefore you will have spent $162 to get $600 of credit PLUS three spins of the wheel….now THAT's a bargain…

    • +11

The entertainment scheme has already been exhausted ;)

      • bugger…. :(

      • +1

It lasted MONTHS last time, 2 weeks this time….:(

    • +1

@Savitar You're on your way to earning your Ozbargain black belt.

      • 😂

  • +4

Can you use the credit to purchase a 30/60 min pass? I've got two young kids and believe a 30 min
/60 min pass would be better value. My kids could blow $50 in 20 mins…..

    • +1

      No

    • Nah, it's pay per play. They make more money this way.

    • +5

It's a legit question. Why the neg vote?

  • Almost exhausted $800 credit from discover and parent - still got $200. 30 plushies and 30k tickets still.

    • You can use parent voucher for this?

      • Yep. Loaded last time it was double. Let them know you want to do all of it and it’s parents. Vouchers should be expired now

        • +1

Great. Thanks. I need to have some kiddos first.

  • saw this video recerntly
    https://youtu.be/Rsxao9ptdmI?t=878
    some games MAY probs rigged

people would be having a riot if this was casino or pokies

    • +1

Oh the games are definitely rigged

    • I've won a lot of major prizes recently at Timezone/Kingpin/Zone and that's purely luck. Fat chance the factory default 1 in 500 wins is set. Probably 1 in 10,000.

Speaking of rigged games you should pop into KOKO Amusements on George St in Sydney. The bootleg Psyduck claw machine doesn't pay out until $1000ish has been put in. The others are much less at like $200ish.

I have a few claw machines in my place and guests love to see how easy it is to rig them to win or lose easily.

  • +1

i took my kids to iplay at liverpool $26 for 70 minutes of play BUT u don’t get any points that u win on the games but my kids just like playing the games but they do have alright prices for reasonable points

  • +1

I downloaded the app and signed up this morning but I don’t see any option to load? I see the Reload button but it doesn’t work.

The FAQs section shows I need to register my Powercard in the app. Do I have to go to venue to collect my Powercard or will I receive in email at some point? When I click on “Add Powercard” on the app, it asks either to scan the card or enter card details manually

Ofcourse the double value offer starts in Nov but was just trying to get familiar with the process.

    • +1

You need to get a physical card beforehand.

      • Ok, thanks. I will get one from the venue

  • Presumably could stack by using the current Ultimate gift cards for kids promo at Woolworths (x20 points) to pay for these?

    • Tempted curious if you can load on app. Looking at the woolies thread it might not work out

    • Can confirm it works.

    • Yes it works

  • Can I use gift cards to buy and load the credit?

    • Yes you can. I just bought a bunch of gift card from WW and loaded successfully to TimeZone card. Need to go to store tho

  • Anybody know how to reload your card using PayPal? I saw that T&C mention PayPal but I can't see where it is

  • 15% off Ultimate from deal here. Active and Wellness say online and instore. I think using "vouchers" do not move the cumulative rewards at least the discover vouchers didn't.

  • It’s weird that I could not see this deal anywhere?

Finally time for more Wizard of Oz funds.

    • +2

      does the credit expire?

      • +1

Everything on the site seems to suggest that it's only valid on the day, and with no terms and conditions to read I am struggling to believe otherwise. I'd like to get some double credit to be able to use on a day that suits my daughter i.e. a curriculum day when it's not filled with other kids, but not sure if that's how this promo works?

        • +3

Poorly worded I think, on the app it says "arcade credit is valid for 12months from last use" under this promo.

      • +1

This might be the answer (just Googled Timezone credit expiry)

Yes. Game credit and Powertickets will expire if the card is inactive for 12 months from the date of last use.

        https://www.timezonegames.com/en-au/faqs/rewards-faqs

  • Can this credit be used for Timezone or Kingpin bowling?

    • +1

Would like to know too. We usually head to darling harbour kingpin

If it can be used at kingpin, can it be used to pay for bowling?

      • Reading the comments above, yes it can be used in kingpin

        • So Zone bowling is out of bounds I guess?

  • Do these points expire??

    • Read above comments

  • Timezone is expensive now. I miss Chuck E Cheese 😓

  • How can I redeem this without previously having a Powercard?

    • -1

      You need a powercard.

      • Would I need to go in person into Timezone to attain a card?

        • Yes. Load $60 in person or just ask for a card to activate. OR you can ask people leaving if they want to discard their blue vip card.
