A crosspost from Whirlpool forum
Hello folks, I am planning on a 3.5K purchase in the next couple of weeks and was hoping to use one of those credit card sign-up bonuses to offset it a little.
From googling around I can see that the CBA's Low Fee Gold CC has a $300 cashback with $0 annual fee for a 1.5K spend in 90 days. Most of the other cards had rewards points rather than a direct cashback. I have no clue if any of those have a better return compared to this or how the rewards point works out for different banks. Can you guys help me out pick the best one please?
A few pointer on what I am after
- Have a credit rating of 'Excellent', so getting approved is very likely
- Minimum credit limit of 4K
- Don't mind annual fee as long as the net return is great
- Not planning on keeping the card. Will most likely close it once the rewards are paid
- Don't travel much, so any rewards for travel/hotels/flights won't be of much help to me
- Maximum spend possible from my end to satisfy sign-up bonus condition is 5K in 90 days
