    first choice has specials on wine etc..i can't find any beer deals on their website.

    Dans and 1st Choice are the cheapest of all the physical liquor stores (or they price match), but only Get Wines Direct smash RRPs.

    Pity we don't hear much about them here much………..

    These are the only three I would consider drinking but 'specials'?? $50 for a carton of Corona. I have never, and would never pay that much. Same goes for the other two.

      1st choice had a deal a few months ago for $70 you got a slab of crowns and 6 pack of Wahu.

      bloody excellent deal imho.

      1st choice have some excellent inhouse deals usually.

    Everyone has a different idea on what special is but I find the use of the term here loose to say the least.

    In WA, carton of Crownies at Dan Murphys is rarely over $42. Same goes for Corona and Pale Ale.

    If a carton of Corona was sitting in a DM store with a sign saying 'Special - $50', you can be sure the same about of cartons would be there the following week.

    Neg to OP for the cheek to even call this post a special or a bargain.

    not every one is close to dan murphys. however if crownies are $50 at liq land and another store near your house has them for $6o.

        time is an issue for people who need travel across town + petrol haha.. most of these bigger liquor stores do price match so its good to know what the other store has on deal so you can quickly show them if they argue :).
