VPN Unlimited Life Time Subscription US$99.99 (~A$160) @ KeepSolid

Unlimited VPN for $160, had them for the last 4 or 5 years, only use it for p2p, it has been fine, don't know what they are like for streaming.

Horrible speeds. I have a lifetime subscription from a few years back when it was decent. Now it's really bad. You can also routinely get $30 USD lifetime sub based on previous posts.

First of all that's not a good price at all.
I'm using the free promo codes every now and then yes the quality has come down slightly but still can't complain. Solid for a free VPN.

Never ever trust a lifetime software subscription. A company can easily change ownership or even company name, and they can then cancel your lifetime subscription with a reason.

Windscribe honours theirs for 4yrs now

    • As Nuker said. Windscribe is still honouring their deal. I've now passed the 5 year mark of a lifetime subscription with windscribe.

Although misleading, with lifetime subscriptions you need to consider that it's not actually for your lifetime, its for the lifetime of the business or product their offering. As far as if it's worth it, you need to determine what your break even point is (when comparing to a standard subscription model) and consider it a win from that point on wards….for the windscribe instance, i was break even from about the 12-16 month mark, everything after that is winning. If windscribe were to shut down tomorrow, it will be sad but i can atleast be happy that i got my money's worth out of their deal.

    Stacksocial has it much cheaper.
    $40USD for life.

    • Neg’d the deal because cheaper options.
VPN itself is fine, had for a few years, not the fastest but perfect for a quick flight around the world for regional pricing.

    • Do they give you a code or something?
Just wanna make sure if Keepsolid will accept it or not.
This is a great VPN for my what I'm using it for. Maybe not the speed but everything else.

  • Be aware that they say you get 5 devices. You don't, you get 5 slots. On my Chromebook I use the browser extension and wireguard app. This counts as 2 instances.

Oh and I bought on a Stack Social deal for 5 devices a while ago at much less than this. I don't use all the time but when I need it it works well and supports Wireguard.

    • Ohh that answers the question why my configs keep going bad when I'm just creating them in 3 devices.

Nope, don’t bother. Overseas servers are either 0 or next to zero mbps speed.

  • Try Ivacy lifetime for $us40

I've had move for around 6yrs. Not the quickest, but reliable.

  • those wondering, split tunneling is not offered and only 3 p2p servers are available, nice for a freebie vpn but not sure if i'd go for a lifetime sub
