There are two different models X200 and X400. The previous post was the 400, but this JB HiFi one looks like it maybe the 200.
Edit: it is the X400, very good at this price.
The 1080p sample in the cNet review is terrible quality.

I'd suggest spending a bit extra money. Most current phones can record better video than that.
Its not all that bad if all your using it for is to watch children from behind the bushes

What your paying for is the optical zoom. Its a basic camera for sure, and it seems to be similar to the CAMILEO® H30 which they were putting out 2 years ago. But it seems like a good option for the price, and safer than buying sometihng like http://www.dealextreme.com/p/digital-video-camera-high-defin… or the rebadged equivalent Aiptek
Have you seen what HDTV looks like when the scene is a shaky view of a screenful of trees in the wind? Good to know that the compression can't handle such a scene, but neither can free to air and foxtel. The example oulander posted below is much more realistic. Phones certainly wouldn't be the preferred choice over this camcorder for picture quality.
Toshiba: records stunning 1080p full HD video
CNet: the video quality on the Toshiba Camileo X400 is appalling
Who to believe? :D
"Trusted" Reviews rates it a little higher, at 3.5/5 stars.
