Then I guess you're not the target market
It's called a "television". People use it to display moving images with sound for entertainment and educational purposes.
Is there anything else we can help you with today?
I agree, there is probably a great reason to pay well over $1K for a 55" TV in 2022, I'd like to know also.
And not be negged and derided for it, eh.
OLED.
Thanks.
Pretty good for those after the OLED experience on a budget and don't game.
GoogleTV/AndroidTV is a big plus.
Most games on console can't do true 4k120 anyway, so even fine for majority of console games
Good point.
Very good price!
Anyone had a look at the picture instore?
What a good price, google tv is nice
Only good if the processor is not sluggish. Otw, makes whole interface painful.
How to do c&c on ebay?
I'd see if I could hunt down a CX or C1 in 55 I think, it won't be 'as' cheap, but it'll be close to $2k so, probably would scale price to performance, guess it depends what you're after.
C2 will likely be $2k within a month. I just picked up the 42" for $1800 but it has been down to $1679.
42 is nearing the limit of what could be put in a desk, seems OLEDs (from LG) don't scale down well with price, doesn't seem they go much lower than $1800 for 55/48/42, from LG anyway.
Can some talk a photo of the rear of this TV? Cannot find if its VESA mountable.
The 65 does so I assume this one also does?
What's tv in the last 10 years isn't vesa mountable?
Good as a spare tv outdoor or dining room?
It's good as a primary TV lol, so why wouldn't it be good for other rooms?
Maybe because OLEDs degrade faster with heat so probably not suitable for outdoor use?
True, maybe, but I feel that wasn't the source of the question
Probably not good outdoors as OLED doesn't tend to get bright enough to fight bright light and glare. A cheap LED that gets really bright would be more suited, I think.
Next year I heard that Aldi will be selling OLED TVs.
Has anyone ever used these or any other cheaper OLED ? How do these things come to the market when the screens are manufactured by 2 players as far as I know ..Would be keen to hear some real life feedback
These would be from a reputable manufacturer, just not up to their quality to use in their own products.
You mean rejected panels ? Hmm ..well yeah could be
Another crappy cheap chinese TV from Tempo. Badged under a different brand. One brand gets so many problems lets just import under another brand. Metz german brand. It may have been once. But anyone can buy the rights to a brand.
I don't understand who would buy this and why
