    suggest playing around with dates to make KL a stop over then fly to say phuket etc.. with the melb -KL flights, you can make KL a stop over then add phuket, cost will be roughly an extra $62, only downside showing 26hr to return

    another option you can go melb - phuket return, on the way up normal 13hr flight (3hr stop at KL), on the way back 26hr, just stay a night in KL, cost $730 with mytrip.com

      Quick question - of all the SEA locations, why Phuket? Why not spend a couple nights (rather than 1) in KL or BKK or something?

        was just giving a example you can use this deal to go to phuket or elsewhere for similar price with a free stop in KL, i'd definitely spend 2+ nights in KL went in july, search hotels in Bukit Bintang Shopping District area

              @RogueWolf: I am flexible with dates. Just want the cheapest price. So if I do a search with multi city there isn't an option to search for the whole month so that it shows you the dates with the cheapest price.
