Only Navi 31 as 7900/7800 xt will be launched in Nov (according to MLID). You'll have to wait about a year for any real availability of 7600/xt. But yeah still hoping for 6600xt to go back to 400 or below but have a bad feeling it's unlikely, at least until late next year. In the meantime my RX 570 still chugging along like a champ though.
While the RBA is trying to create a weak Australian Dollar and import inflation from overseas, tech prices are at somewhat of an impasse.
same RX 570 here reporting for duty, still doing ok
Yeah to be exact I believe all models will be announced with detail (and pricing too maybe). While we only have 7800/7900 XT this year, it's still good to know how the 7600 xt perform to decide it's worth the wait or not.
Good points. One thing I'd add:
Reason not to buy: eBay is still loaded with ex-mining GPUs that aren't all selling for asking prices, so the auction prices and minimum Buy It Now prices on each model are falling steadily.
E.g.: cheapest used RTX 3070 was $600 delivered last week, but now $560 this week.
https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p233452…
So it's not unlikely that in a few weeks this GPU may be a hundred bucks less, used. Maybe even cheaper. And that affects the brand new prices too, as some potential buyers will buy a used card instead (while some won't buy a used card for even half the price of new, many will, so new units won't sell as fast, and retailers will need to reduce prices to move stock before prices fall even further).
here's a breakdown I made for the september prices from Ebay, hopefully it helps people?

Looks like the higher volume cards have more appropriate pricing compared to the top end and the bottom end ones, as expected to be a normal distribution or what not.
If you're looking for a budget second hand card you might be better off paying the same price if you look around for one or two step up, which would probably take the same amount of time to find/wait for auctions.
Does anyone know if this would be any good for a budget PC build where I just want to play the latest MS Flight Simulator?

Looks okay for 1080p 60fps with medium setting I guess.
Links video with ultra/very high settings averaging over 60fps in every test. Concludes it will be 'okay' with medium settings.
Because other videos showing that 6600 xt struggles with ultra 60fps 1080p so I decide to make a safer claim lol
@Masticccc: I think the only benchmarks I've seen it struggle is when RT is turned on
Reason to buy: A lot better than the 199$ 6500 XT deal (more than double in fps performance, not to mention 6500 XT has other limits). So if you want to get a budget gpu go for this at least. Also Sapphire is a top brand for amd card.
Reason not to buy: 6600 was 299$ before (not this brand tho) and 6600 XT for 350$ (ask our friend Jimmy77), and 7000 series announcement on Nov 3rd. Especially I believe AMD release all the cards from low to high tier at the same time, so if you can wait better do that.
