    • I did not know that story but did recognise the logo.
      Thanks for sharing.

  • Is there a gadget (from Creative or otherwise) that provides the capability to use a standard set of Bluetooth headphones w/ mic for chat on Nintendo Switch? The Switch has a 3.5mm jack built-in but no seemingly audio path for the microphone (wired or wireless/BT).

    • +1

The switch's 3.5 jack can do mic in and the USB-C can do it too. This is how Arctis 1 Wireless works with the switch using a dongle.

I have not tried normal Bluetooth headphones, I cannot talk about that part. The adaptor that huwcar has linked works, but the headset mic will NOT be used, instead, the mic from the dongle will.

    any good ones?

  • It's a good one. I can vouch for it. I gave this and an ifi dac v2. I'm no high class audiophile and I like good audio for my budget. The g6 is superb for gaming. I have a focal clear hooked on it for games and I have scout mode on for most games. Firmly recommend

  • G6 is a solid DAC, have used it for 2 years paring with a Drop PC38X, really good combination for gaming.

Bit of a first-world problem, but I stopped buying anything with micro USB altogether. It is a thing of the past and it should stay in the past.

    • +2

Yeah that's a bit of an issue for me too. Yes i have a few (hundred) micro usb cables around it's just a pain to have something other than usb c these days. The new logitech Bluetooth speakers still have micro sd. I have no idea what they were thinking when they released those a couple months ago.

There is no doubt that Logitech is stuck in the past with their implementation of micro USB. Reddit is full of people asking for USB C on their products.

    • You never have to unplug this. It just sits there. It is not like you have to deal with micro USB at any point except the first time.

  • even though it's marketed as "gaming" this definitely has audiophile territory dac

I've had this DAC for a couple of years and had no issues, paired with a pair of Sennheiser PC37x. Optical output to my Logitech speakers, 3.5 jack input for my MacBook Air (run both devices at once). When you disconnect/ connect the headphones it auto switches. Line out and in on rear are both optical and 3.5 jacks. Front 3.5 ports are Audio and Mic. Very good in game sound and many user options to play around with.
