Lenovo: Upsized 16% Cashback @ Cashrewards

210

not sure why this hasn't been posted yet

was browsing casually for a new gaming laptop (this will raise a few eyebrows) when I stumbled across a deal on Lenovo Legion 5i Pro with 3070Ti for $2849 and I thought hmmm is there any CashRewards for this? and turns out there's 16% today.

Just tracked fine. Good luck!

Cashback is ineligible on Motorola products.

just to reinforce this, mine involved Lenovo's code "VAULT" and tracked fine, even though not listed on CR site

Just to reinforce this - just because it was tracked doesn't mean it will be approved and paid.

      • if you say so! I only used CR a handful of times, and haven't had anything declined yet

        • He is 100% correct. I ordered a laptop in June and it tracked immediately. It was later rejected cos I used a code that at the time was deemed acceptable to use it CR.

          • @dngo: I will take a screenshot just in case

            • +1

@shabaka: yes.. take a screen shot just in case cashrewards declines it so when you give them proof that you used a code that was not listed on their website they will go ahead and approve your cashback…

      • BTW, asked CR support twice, and they confirmed that my purchase and cashback are valid, and fit the terms and conditions of this increased Lenovo cashback.

    • Mate, I have seen you in almost every gaming laptop deal post. Are you collecting gaming laptops? lol

used to be a laptop technician (also Dell reseller), during the pandemic I got into gaming and the two things combined together for me somehow

I get laptops, use them for a while, and then either sell them on if they are good, or return if they are not. I tried almost everything (gaming) except for Lenovo (here comes one, though), and Asus (I just really don't like the brand, but who knows, maybe one day).

        story of my life

        • haha thanks for sharing!

    • Also, don't forget to join MyLenovo Reward before checkout. Triple rewards (7.65%) can be earned and used in your next purchase!

      • sure did! raked in $198 in rewards

        thank you!

        • I think we bought the same one (82RF003UAU) with cashreward A$ 455.84. :)

          • @Monsterball: yep, that's the one! :) fingers crossed the cashback is honoured 🤑

            • @shabaka: We will be fine. The code is generated by Lenovo on its website.

              • +1

@Monsterball: with cashback and rewards that's a solid deal!

                • @shabaka: Yeah it is!

Following cumova's advice, I also took a screen shot just in case. :)

                  • @Monsterball: same. DDR5, 12th gen i7, RTX 3070 Ti, welcome to the future!

for a while at least, till next CES I guess

                  • @Monsterball: I'm pretty sure @cumova is being sarcastic with their reply. It's well known that Cashrewards and similar cashback sites will track, but it will usually show up as declined after a few days as it's goes against the T&C's of a particular deal.

        • Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I can't see the lenovo rewards being applied on lenovo, I've joined and when I purchased it all seemed fine. Any tips?

          • @u9tvfr: they get credited to you 30 days after the order ships

out of curiosity what did you get

            • @shabaka: Thanks, I got the e14 gen4 for $1049 (minus CR)

              • @u9tvfr: nice :) I have one. great little machine

    • Hey,

Do you know how long the cashrewards will last? Or is it for tonight only?

      • Not just today. It ends tomorrow. :)

  • Anyone getting a wierd error on LenovoEDU store?

Anytime I am trying to custom build a laptop, it says this config is no longer availiable and wont let me customise. It worked perfectly last night…

    • nah, lenovoEDU worked fine for me yesterday and today not long ago

but EDU isn't eligible for the cashback, is it? and lenovoPRO either

  • Was looking at a base model e14 gen4 a week ago on the EDU store
$863: (edu store) 256gb sdd, no fingerprint reader and I can't remember how much ram.
$882 (after cashback, 1049 on lenovo) 512gb sdd, fingerprint reader and 16gb ram

I think I'm getting more Lenovo rewards on the non-EDU store.

Looks like Lenovo are having website problems!

  • Back in 2020, I bought 3 gaming PCs from Lenovo with cashback. I cancelled two orders before they were dispatched and one actually arrived (which I also ended up returning for a full refund).

I got very lucky. All cashback tracked and were approved. Got a random $500 or so for nothing.

    • You did not pay restocking fee for the returned one?

      • Nope. They were very lenient over COVID.

        • they probably just incinerated it

  • show is over, folks, back to 9% and lower.

perfect timing for me lol. was just on the market for a gaming laptop

  • cashback is 16% again!

  • ok not sure what is going on with cash rewards, lenovo cashback is now something weird. 15% off Legion, much less for the rest.
