1760

Hi all. Boost Mobile is currently selling its $30 40GB SIM for just $10, so stack with this offer from Cashrewards to get $11.50 cashback for a $1.50 profit. Note that cashback reverts to 100% as per this deal at 11:59pm AEST Monday. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Cashback terms:

  1. Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.
  2. SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.
  3. Cashback is ineligible on prepaid phones, recharges, and any plans or products not specifically listed in the cashback table of rates.
  4. You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

For tracking success, disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click before purchase. Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Please bring back the 12 months prepaid Amaysim plan with large cashback, thanks TA

    • +1

Yep. This is the one we're all waiting for!

      • +1

Yeah worked out to be a few dollars a month.

    • That would be nice.

  • I'm very curious how much continued business all of these promos yield. I personally burn and churn. That being said, would be good to get some long term deals.

    • +2

It is a cheaper way to generate new CR users as existing users are getting bored with it, compared with referral cost of $20 to $40.

    • +2

My wife and I get the 12mo 240gb Boost sims each year. Keep going back because they are good.

Probably more interest in these sim deals now that Optus breach happened.

  • +2

    when will boost have esim?

  • +6

I still haven't get my Sim card since early Sept cashback promo.

If anyone want to use the sim card urgently I highly recommend to stay away, otherwise expect delays. I have contacted Boost support and they are pretty useless.

    • +1

The answer is "buy a $2 blank SIM and request a $30 recharge".

    • +6

You might want to contact Boost then, I got my last SIM card within 5 days of ordering and I'm in Perth. It came in a registered post envelope.

    • better hurry becasue you need to activate before 30 days of order date to receive cashback

    • +1

FYI, I bought mine on 23Aug thru Shopback and come 20Sep when I was ready to port out, I then realise I haven't received the sim card. Went online to chat with Boost, they said it was shown as delivered on 26Aug even though I did not receive email nor a card. Told me to go check at my nearest PO, nothing there too. Chat with them again and told them it's not at the post office either. They apologise, ask me to get $2 sim card from shop, then offered to give me $40 50GB plan initially. I asked if I could have a 3mths plan, which they dont have, so I asked if I could have the 365days plan but with only 50GB, can't do it but offered me the $50 70GB plan instead. I took it and I can use it anytime as long as I have the reference # from the chat.

      • +1

Did you receive the cashback ? There are some reports that the 30 day activation requirement is not enforced.

    • +3

Others' mileage may vary of course but Boost is the only provider I see constant reports of missing/delayed SIM cards and poor customer support. Which is why I give these deals a miss.

    • Hey! Sorry to hear that. Have you still not received the sim till now? Please contact us at [email protected] so we can take care of this for you.

  • If I am already on a boost plan, Can I switch to this when it ends? Thank you

    • And keeping the same number?

    • Hey there! Yes, that is possible! Just contact our customer service team for assistance.

  • +4

"Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later."

    Damn. What's up with that?

    • +5

they ban your delivery address after a few purchases for some days. try again next month

    • Delivery Address and/or email address issues.

    • +1

I kept getting that, when I chatted they said there were no restrictions. My suburb has an apostrophe ‘ so I entered the address without it and it worked.

So if u have any special characters anywhere try leaving them out.

      • +2

The only restriction is the size of your letterbox. And your imagination, but OzBargainers have the biggest one I’ve ever seen!

    • +1

The only way I could fix it was to enter address manually and make one slight change to it, like an extra space in one word.

    • +3

If you have any previous pending orders, wait for those to be delivered and you should be good to order again

  • +2

Still waiting for sim from last cashback offer. They are really enjoying extra puplic holiday.

    • Hi Bacha! Sorry to hear you've had issues with delivery. Have you received it yet? If not, please contact us at [email protected] so we can help!

  • +1

Not sure if this was asked in the other threads before, but when I try to activate with my details, the system will detect that I have an existing account and I will have to register it under that account / email. It will throw an error if I try to register with a new email.

Will it still count as a new customer and be eligible for cashback if I register a new prepaid SIM and number under existing account?

    • +5

      This is my interpretation:
Nowhere in the cashback T&C requires you to be a new customer, all you need is to buy a new sim & activate it within 30 days.

  • Does anyone know if u need to stay beyond the 30 day period? Or you can port afterwards and still get rebate?

    • Hi Froddo! As long as you activate within 30 days, there should be no issues.

  • +5

    Unlimited money hack.

    …retirement, here I come!

    • +3

      Congratulations on your boost

  • I am new to cash rewards. Once you have money in the kitty how do you use that for your next purchase?

    • +2

The money will appear after the defined time. Could be 3 months or 30 days. Each deal will let u know. The money is in the Cashrewards accounts but u don’t use it on purchases in Cashrewards, u can transfer it to your bank account to spend as u wish

    • you need to accumulate minimum $10.01 in "available balance" before you can withdraw to your bank account or paypal

  • +1

Still waiting for sim from last cashback offer. They are really enjoying extra puplic holiday. (2)

    • Just received it today!

  • Tracked instantly!

    • +1

      5G speed!

  • any deals on the $200 sim?

    • $199.99 flash sale… get ready!

    • There will be another one sometime soon, stay tuned! :)

i dont know how many boost SIM cards i ordered through cashrewards

    • +3

      Neither do we.

  • +2

I’m now a bit nervous that all my previous pending boost CR cashbacks will be rejected.

My shopback Vodafone cashback has been rejected and probably the linked Vodafone mobile challenge will also be voided. This was from the late May post on here.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/702003

Let me know if anyone else’s cashback from the above post was also rejected.

    • +3

Don't know about boost but Vodafone is notorious for not approving their cashback offers. Last time I bought their 365 day Sim with 35 dollars cashback it was not approved for 4 months until cashrewards just gave up and approved it at their own cost because I was following up like crazy. They wanted to get rid of me

      • +2

Likewise vodafone is the only vendor I've had any issues getting cashback approved for. If I recall mine took over 5 months and only with me constantly chasing it up.

Don't know if vodafone actually approved it or if it was done at own cost because I was following it up so often.

    • +1

Finally all my cashbacks from the May Vodafone deal above has been paid to me by shop back. I believe that this is goodwill from ShopBack, and not from Vodafone themselves. They paid me back the 5.60 dollar cashback and the five dollar mobile Vodafone challenge. It was a saga email after email after email, never again ordering anything from Vodafone through a Cashrewards or ShopBack deal

  • can you pick your own number with Boost?

    • +1

Yes or bring a previous one

      • thanks

  • +1

Purchased a Boost Mobile 40GB 28-Day SIM yesterday (not through this deal) so that I could punt Optus, and have just found out that Boost doesnt support my apple watch :-(

  • +2

Thanks TA, killing it still mate

    • +2

TA knows it's better to give than receive.

  • +3

You're the arse we don't deserve!

  • +2

    Did not track :(

    • +1

same :( no tracking email yet

    • Hey there! Sorry to hear that. Please contact us at [email protected] if this is still not tracking.

  • +4

It's been 2 weeks and I'm yet to receive my sim card! Not even a dispatch email with tracking number or anything, going to contact Boost tmr for a refund :(

    • +1

Same here, almost 1 week and no any update…

    • +1

I've been getting my Sim cards in like 2-3 days, though they never send me the tracking number.

      • You are right, I got mine today. Fair enough delivery time considering the public holiday

    • Hey there! Sorry to hear that. Please contact us at [email protected] if this is still not tracking.

  • Do you have to stay with Boost for the full recharge period to get the cash reward or is just buying it and activating it enough?

    • Hey there! As long as the sim is activated within 30 days, it should be fine.

  • I've had both 3 weeks delivery and 3 days delivery on these

  • +2

These have been great alternatives to having an NBN connection. Got a 4g router & just rotate through Sims for data. Between boost & Kogan I think I have actually turned a profit on my last 8 months or internet.

    • I definitely have. The 1c kogan sims were godly.

  • Do you still get the 40gb if you activate after today? as mentioned on the website that 20gb is bonus data.

    • Just saw this and panicked, tried to activate but the site is down for maintenance :(

Looks like all the dates still say Sep 26, except for one I saw that said Oct 4, so maybe they are extending it? It's a bit cheeky to still be selling a thing that expires today that you can't activate. Maybe @tightarse can look it up for us and/or get an extension.

  • I have received tracking email..👍
Rewards $11.50 and approved date 30/12/2022

    • Awesome!

  • Tracking was almost instantaneous. Well done, @tightarse and CR team!

  • Is this deal still on? It looks active but has been marked as expired on ozbargain!

  • I ordered on 25/9 Sunday evening
Received order confirmation but didn't received dispatch email as previous orders last month.
Still received my sim card this morning 28/9 Wed. All good.

    • That's awesome!

      • I ordered the same on the evening of 25/9 and received an order confirmation.
But no dispatch email and the SIM still card hasn't arrived.
        Help?

      • Any idea what happen if activate after 30 days of order?
