These are very heavy and bulky. Definately not for hiking. In fact hit might have trouble fitting it into a small car

You can save some space by folding them in half and then rolling them.

Definitely not for hiking though - basically a tent but heavier.

Most of the bulk (like most swags) is in the thick 70mm foam mattress. I've replaced the thick foam mattress with a 90mm Denali Camper Royale inflatable mat, which is more comfortable, waterproof and far more compact. I pack the swag separately in my 4WD. It's so compact now you can fit it in a small car.

Op: "bought this to try it out"

    okay….

    Housing crisis in sydney?

Maybe preparing to get kicked out by the wife when she finds out how much it cost.

    • There is always a housing crisis in Sydney. Who would want to live in Sydney!

Bought it for camping rather than a tent.

Very very bulky swag and poor quality control, but so comfy and roomy. Perfect for glamping lol

I wouldn't call this as glamping. I think this swag still have the issue of the sides sagging. Glamping would be with those more expensive swags from Darche, OzTent or 23Zero.

You can fix the sagging with a couple of extra ropes

        • Yeah a couple of ocky straps on each end fixes the sagging on these

My friend has one and it is awesome. Really sturdy construction and roomy and comfy as it can get for swag camping. Huge though. Takes up most of the boot of her corolla.

    • I agree.
