  Do you have many of these in stock? I don't know what I'd do with a lost in space robot though. So for $39,000 you get a remote conrolled robot that doesn't actually move around??? It can't even bring me a beer!

    I actually had one of these. Great gimmick - used it once. This has two flaws:

    1. Useless if there is a step in the floor between you and the fridge.
    2. (and more importantly) need a wife willing to fill it up for you at your calling (my ungrateful wife seems to think I should get my own beer!) ;-P

  The battery is rechargable and you should get at least 18 months out of it and perhaps even 3 years. It all depends on how much you use it.
