  • What may I ask does it contain, actual tools?

  • Nice,

The code seems to be minimum $100 spend?

There is no way I would trust ordering from these guys after looking at their online feedback.

plenty of positive deals from Element14 - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/element14.com

They're a huge company that has been servicing the electronics industry for over 80 years. I have no qualms ordering from them.

The problem with online review sites is they tend to mainly attract angry people. You don't get to hear from the usually majority of people who have had no issues with their service and so don't bother looking for a website to be angry on.

The worst site IMHO is productreview.com.au. If they were a reliable source, nobody should ever buy anything from an Apple Store.

Not terrible value; the Screwdriver with built in bits + quick change bit is worth about $70-80 alone when they're on sale. And you also get another bit set + joker spanners ontop. I don't consider the bottle opener to be worth anything lol.
Neg due to the terrible colour scheme though :P

    • The bottle opener is actually really good, but yeah more of a kitchen utensil.

    • +1

The bottle opener is the best opener I’ve ever had.
With this ergonomic grip I can keep opening bottles all day long.

      I am not joking.

You can get the Wera ratchet screwdriver for ~$60 Delivered @ Amazon UK via AU

If you want the ultimate, the PB Swiss ratcheting driver is about AUD$75 delivered, slightly cheaper if you get more than one.
The model with the longer shaft and buillt-in bit storage is slightly more.

        • Just been browsing Ratcheting Screwdrivers after the LTT Screwdriver was released (along with multiple reviews/comparison videos).

I’d recommend against that Wera mid-point pop-up handle. Lots of negative reviews about flexing/instability and even breakage under torque. Better to opt for the solid ratchet screwdriver handle (no storage) or the stubby ratchet screwdriver (with pop-out storage on the end). Around $45-50 each regularly.

  • if you need to get over the $100 to use the code, this deal is still available.

still seems to be backordered though

  • mine shipped, and received invoice

  • Received mine today. The original packaging is already too big for the amount of tools you get but Element14 really went overboard with shipping packaging. The bloody box is half the size of a bar fridge.

    • yep, had the same

  • Price has changed now…
