iPhone 14 Pro Max - Shipping Delays

Anyone else who bought their phone get a delayed notification?

I got mine from JB Hi Fi and they told me over the phone they have no eta and my order was impacted. On Apple website, it now says 6 weeks to get one.

I ordered few days before the release and at the time the phone guy said they had sufficient stock.

Edit: 30/9/2022

Its dispatched now after 2 weeks.

      In my case I really cant. I have an old Pixel 3 XL which stopped receiving software and security updates. I also dropped it a month back and it shattered the screen. Its functional but pretty bad.

      This is my upgrade in 4 years. I was about to get the Pixel 6 Pro but that's a disappointment. And Google no longer gives free cloud storage for original photos

      And each year Google always disappoints with the hardware. I only liked their Nexus 6P which I used for a long while.

      I have used all the iPhones from 2g, 3g, 3gs, 4, 4s , 5, 5s up till and including 6 plus which was pretty good for its time. This would be a new experience for me :)

          Between throwing $1700 for a 13 pro max 256 gb or $2100 for a 14 pro max, I dont think the savings are worth it if I am gonna use it for 3-4 years

      This is legitimately what launch day is like for me. Trying to focus on work when I'm listening out for the slightest noise that might mean the delivery guy is here.

      Also, yes, I bought the new iPhone to replace my 13 Pro Max because it comes in purple now. The new cameras, CPU, AoD, and other stuff I don't care about.

    I ordered my 14 Pro Max through Vodafone a few days after the Apple Event and my ETA is 5th of October.

        Haha me too. Reading the Vodafone Whirlpool thread, there are quite a few people who have to wait even though they ordered before launch.

    Are they gonna offer some compensation for delay, frustration, anger, and disappointment they induced in customers or its just a walk in the park for Apple ?
